> ## Agent Instructions
> This site documents the D-EDGE APIs for technology partners (web agencies, OTAs, PMS and RMS vendors, booking and CRM tools). It is written for developers integrating with hotels that use the D-EDGE platform.
> Seven APIs, grouped by domain. Connectivity: Channel Manager API (distribute a hotel's inventory to your channel and send bookings back). Pricing & Availability: Best Price API (best offers to highlight), Quotation API (all bookable offers for a stay), Daily Rates API (daily availability between two dates). Booking: Booking Engine API (a hotel's full direct booking funnel), Gift Shop API (gift vouchers from catalogue to payment). Guest Management: CRM API (guest profiles).
> Pick the API by the need: to display prices, use the Best Price API or the Daily Rates API; to quote a specific stay, use the Quotation API; to book, use the Booking Engine API; to sell gift vouchers, use the Gift Shop API; to manage guest profiles, use the CRM API; to receive hotel inventory and send bookings back as a distribution channel, use the Channel Manager API.
> Base URLs, hotel identifiers, and credentials are delivered by the D-EDGE partnership team during onboarding. Do not invent base URLs, endpoints, parameters, or example credentials that do not appear on these pages.
> Authentication differs per API: OAuth 1.0 for Best Price, Quotation, Daily Rates, and Booking Engine; an X-API-KEY header for Gift Shop; OAuth 2.0 client credentials for CRM; partner-defined credentials carried in the XML message for the Channel Manager API. Read each API's Authentication page before writing code.
> A mock environment returns realistic but fictitious data without credentials. The Postman and Insomnia collections on the API collections page target it by default. Use it for exploration and tests, never for production traffic.
> Use the official names exactly: D-EDGE, D-EDGE platform, Channel Manager API, partnership team. Do not use Back Office or Extranet.
> Each API has a Changelog page. Check it for the current behaviour before relying on an older answer. For questions these pages do not answer, direct the reader to the Contact us page.

# Explore our APIs

> Each API at a glance

D-EDGE exposes its hospitality platform through a set of purpose-built APIs. Pick the one that fits your integration scenario.

> [!NOTE]
>
> **Prerequisites**: you can explore every endpoint on this portal and run requests against the mock environment with no credentials. Production access needs a signed partnership agreement: [contact the partnership team](https://www.d-edge.com/partner-contact/) to discuss your project.

> [!NOTE]
>
> **D-EDGE's API documentation is moving to this portal.** Seven are documented here today, with more joining progressively as part of an ongoing modernisation. See the [full range of D-EDGE capabilities](/overview/get-started/start-building-with-d-edge.md#what-you-can-build-with-d-edge) on the Start building with D-EDGE page.

**Connectivity**

### Channel Manager API

Connects your distribution platform to the D-EDGE Channel Manager: D-EDGE pushes availability, prices, and restrictions to endpoints you host, and your platform sends its bookings back. Use it to sell D-EDGE hotels on an OTA, a wholesaler, a tour operator, or any distribution system with its own planning database.

**Pricing & Availability**

### Best Price API

Returns the best available offers across stay dates. Use it to build a dynamic calendar, highlight the best rate per room type, explore hotels across a destination, or showcase member rates against public rates.

> See the reference, guides, and use cases.

### Quotation API

Returns every available offer for a given stay in a single call. Use it to pre-load offers on a hotel website, feed a chatbot with live pricing, or surface offers to AI assistants like ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude.

> See the reference, guides, and use cases.

### Daily Rates API

Retrieves day-by-day rates and availability across any date range in a single request. Use it to sync rates into your own database, feed a third-party platform, or build a deferred-sync availability calendar.

> See the reference, guides, and use cases.

**Booking**

### Booking Engine API

Powers a hotel's full direct booking funnel through a single session. Use it to build a direct booking experience from search and availability to basket, quote, and confirmation, with descriptions, promotions, loyalty, and sales terms along the way.

> **[Go to the Booking Engine API](/booking-engine-api/get-started/introduction.md)**
>
> See the reference, guides, and use cases.

### Gift Shop API

Powers a hotel's online gift shop through a single session. Use it to build a branded voucher storefront on the hotel's website, sell gift cards spendable on the booking engine, and sell services like a spa session redeemed with the hotel or the group.

>
> See the reference, guides, and use cases.

**Guest Management**

### CRM API

Manages the guest profiles a hotel or group holds in the D-EDGE CRM. Use it to write what your system learns about a guest, search the guest base and manage its segments, merge and unmerge duplicate profiles, and honour a guest's privacy choices.
